「私の隠れ家」というテーマで行われるこの公募展のために、私は「この」私という隠れ家を提示することした。

山で拾った古い板と、それをお手本に新しい板でつくった二枚の板。それらを支える石。壁にはオノ・ヨーコからの引用と、それに対応する私の文章を対置した。

雲を数えなさい
雲に名前をつけなさい
Count the clouds.
Name them.

絵を切り刻み
風にくれてやりなさい
Cut a painting up and let them be lost in the wind.

地下水の流れる音を聴きなさい
Listen to the sound of the underground water.

世界中のすべての時計を二秒ずつ早めなさい
誰にも気づかれないように
Make all the clocks in the world fast by two seconds
without letting anyone know about it.

録音しなさい
石が年をとっていく音を
Take the sound of the stone aging.

道を開けなさい。
風のために。
Make a way for the wind.

立ちつくしなさい。
夕暮れの光の中に
あなたが透明になってしまうまで。
じゃなければあなたが眠りに落ちてしまうまで。
Stand in the evening light
until you become transparent or until you fall asleep.

わたしは今日いちにちで
雲を653個数えました
I've counted 653 clouds today.

わたしは今日
念入りに描いた絵を引き裂いて
すずしげな風にくれてやりました
I cut the painting after my heart
and let them be lost in the cool wind.

わたしは今日いちにち
この木の根が地中深くまでのびているのを
頭の中でたどってみることにしました
I'll follow the root of this tree
growing deep in the ground in my mind
all day long today.

わたしは今日という日が過ぎていくのを
何とかおくらせようとやってみました
I tried to make the day passing slow.

わたしは今日も
河原で拾った石の絵を描こう
I'll paint the stone
I picked up in the shore of the river
today as usual.

もうすっかり葉の落ちた裸木が
まるで風のとおるかたちをして
じっとそこに立っている
The tree without leaves stands still
with its shape formed by the wind.

わたしは夕暮れの枯れた草原の中を
ひとり黙々と歩いてゆく
風に吹かれた枯れ草の色は
すきとおるようにかがやいて
わたしはもうこれから一生この草原を
歩きつづけてもいいと思った
I walk alone on the desolate hill.
The color of the dead leaves blown by the wind
is shining transparently.
I'll keep walking on this hill
throughout my life.

展示後、電話がかかってきて、隣に展示する予定の方が、当初壁を使わない予定だったのだが、使いたくなったとかで展示場所をかえることに。結局、下および右のようなかたちで展示（かなりガッカリ）。
